We invite you to learn about nature's pharmacy and natural healing methods. We offer professional aromatherapy certification courses for health professionals, holistic retailers, and those who have an interest in exploring the art and science of aromatherapy.
Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy has been an approved education provider with the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) since 2002, as well as the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA) and the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) for massage therapy CEU's.
Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy’s 200 and 300-hour Aromatherapy Programs are intended to provide exceptional quality and professional level of Aromatherapy Certification. These programs offer a comprehensive combination of courses geared towards healing and creating a successful and professional aromatherapy business.
Graduates who complete a minimum of 200-hours are qualified to:

Join the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) as a Professional Aromatherapist

Join the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA) as a Professional Aromatherapist

Are qualified to take the National Registration exam with the Aromatherapy Registration Council

Can practice as a clinical aromatherapist

Are eligible to enroll in Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy’s Teachers Training
Our certified aromatherapy program can be accomplished by completing the either Professional Program (200-hours) or Mastery Program (300-hours). If you need to take one step at a time, you can start with the Aromatherapy Certification Level 1 and then add the Aromatherapy Certification Level 2 and 3 Modules. Our Aromatherapy Level 2 and 3 modules are also available to students that have completed a foundation course from other approved aromatherapy schools and Registered Aromatherapists (RA's) for CEU credits. This distance learning self-paced aromatherapy certification program can be started at any time.
Upon enrollment, the digital course downloads are immediately available OR the hard copy course materials are shipped to you by USPS Priority Mail. We offer personalized mentorship and support through email, phone, and one-on-one video conference sessions.
We do not offer a typical payment plan; however, our courses are set up in 50-hour sections to accommodate students that need to take one step at a time financially. The courses are the same, but you
will not receive the $100 tuition discount when enrolling in the Professional Program (Levels 1 and 2
200-hours) or the Mastery Program's $199 tuition discount (Levels 1- 3 300-hours).
Aromatherapy Certification Level 1 (50-hours)
This is the beginning course in our aromatherapy program, for students who need to take one step at a time. Once you have completed this course then you can continue with the Aromatherapy Level 2 Modules at your own pace.
The Level 1 course is designed for the health professional, retailer, and layperson with an interest in the uses and applications of essential oils and hydrosols in a safe and effective manner. This course will provide you with a clear and concise understanding of aromatherapy, and professional confidence in aromatherapy blending. This distance learning course may be started at any time and students are given one year to complete the program. However, most students have completed it in 3-6 months.
Aromatherapy Certification Level 2 and Level 3 Modules
(50-hours each)
These courses may be taken separately after the completion of the level 1 course, NAHA or AIA approved the program, or already a Registered Aromatherapist (RA).

These self-paced distance learning courses may be started at any time, and students are encouraged to complete each course in nine months. However, most students have finished each one in 3-6 months.
Professional Program (200-hours)
This program is intended to provide the highest quality of Level 2- Professional Aromatherapy Certification. This program combines the aromatherapy level 1 and three of the aromatherapy level 2 modules; this enrollment option offers a significant $100 tuition discount. This distance learning course may be started at any time and students are given 1-1/2 years to complete the program. However, most students have completed it in one year.
Mastery Program (300-hours)

This program is intended to provide exceptional quality and professionalism in Level 3-Clinical Aromatherapy Certification. This program combines the aromatherapy level 1 and five modules of aromatherapy levels 2 and 3; this enrollment option offers a significant $199 tuition discount. This distance learning course may be started at any time and students are encouraged to complete the program in three years. However, most students have completed it in 1-1/2 to 2 years.
