Completion of Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy's Professional or Mastery Programs exceeds the educational requirements and certifications of the National Association of Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists (AIA) for the member designation of Professional Aromatherapist.

We offer three different options to complete these required hours:

A certificate diploma and transcript from Aroma Apothecary Healing Arts Academy will be presented upon completion of the course lessons, case studies, research paper, and written or practical test. Graduating students that have completed a minimum of 200 hours will be qualified to be a Professional Member of NAHA, AIA, and to take the national exam of the Aromatherapy Council for the designation of Registered Aromatherapist (RA).

The National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy and the Aromatherapy Council and the Alliance of International Aromatherapists are the organizations that have set the Approved Standards for Aromatherapy Training and Schools in the USA. For more information, visit their websites at naha.org, alliance-aromatherapists.org, and aromatherapycouncil.org. Please note that currently there is no state or national governmental agency in the USA that governs the professional licensing of Aromatherapists.
