This presentation addresses hydrosols, also known as floral waters, hydroflorates, flower waters, or distillates. Hydrosol is a separate product from the steam distillation of plant materials. Hydrosols are like essential oils but contain water chemical components in a lower concentration. These valuable herbal distillates are used as food and drink flavorings, and herbal medicine and are excellent in skin care. This presentation also includes the step-by-step process of how to make your own stove-top hydrosol.
