Holiday Preparation

Updated: Sep 18

The end of the year holidays is a wonderful time to connect with friends and family. With our busy lives, it can also be stressful in preparation for these future events.

Enjoy these aromatherapy blends to ease your daily stressors and to create a beautiful aromatic ambiance in your home or office.

Nasal Inhaler Blend Enjoy this refreshing, grounding, and relaxing blend.

On a felt wick include the following blend:

  • 6 drops Bergamot (Citrus bergamia)

  • 6 drops Black Spruce (Picea mariana)

  • 4 drops Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata)

Inhale into each nostril 2-4 seconds as needed. This blend can be used day and night for a relaxing and balancing effect on the nervous system.

Room Spritzer

The citrus essential oils are particularly uplifting in the chilly weather. They add a refreshing, cleansing, and uplifting ambiance to a room or office. We have also included some “spice” essential oils in this blend for an additional holiday aroma.

In a 2 oz. glass bottle with a spray top include the following blend:

Mix the following essential oils into 1 tbsp. Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis)

  • 6 drops Bergamot (Citrus bergamia)

  • 6 drops Bitter Orange (Citrus aurantium)

  • 6 drops Cardamom (Elettaria cardamomum)

  • 5 drops Ginger (Zingiber officinale)

  • 4 drops Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans)

  • 4 drops Lime (Citrus aurantifolia)

Pour the essential oil mixture into the bottle and then top it off with purified water. Spray into the corners of the room. This blend is not intended as a facial or body spray. Many of these essential oils are skin irritants and also phototoxic.

Bath Blend

After a long and busy day, treat yourself to a relaxing and restorative flower aroma bath. Flowers are heart openers and assist us in embracing the beauty in life.

Mix the following essential oils into 1 tbsp. Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis)

  • 3 drops Rose (Rosa damascena)

  • 3 drops Ylang Ylang (Cananga odorata)

  • 3 drops Neroli (Citrus aurantium)

Add to running bath water and enjoy!

Safe for children (over 5) and during pregnancy, lower the amount of the each essential oil to one drop.
